IT Business Analyst – Business System Management

(Located in Darmstadt, Germany)

In this key role you will be the vital link between our global information technology team and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features. The purpose of your job is to control, coordinate and support global ERP solutions and other critical business systems.

Your key result areas are:

 

  • Identify potential key users and management of the education, training and support of such Key Users
  • Manage integrated and cross functional business system solutions and enhancements
  • Continuous improvement of system usage
  • Manage communication of change and improvements
  • Manage user security, access and control
  • Advice and Support of solution within the system projects objective
  • Manage system disaster recovery through system restores and related disaster management
  • Management and knowledge of key support process. Create and maintain support pro-cesses for all business systems
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, ensuring operational interfaces between systems
Job Information:

Your required qualifications and key skills:

  • University degree or equivalent in Business or Sciences
  • Knowledge and 4 – 6 years’ experience with operations in our business today.
  • Strong IT skills in the areas of MS Office and a broad knowledge of applications/business systems
  • Good knowledge in reporting tools and/or proven capabilities to create reports
  • Familiar with ITIL and project management methodologies
  • Ability to manage relationships internally and externally
  • Strong communication and validation skills
  • Team and Customer oriented personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to think cross functionally to support finding the best solutions for the company as a whole
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate between internal customers need and technical implementation/possibilities
  • Be motivated to make a real difference to the way our business works at a global level.
  • Ability to adapt comfortably to different cultures, international working practices and familiar with matrix organisations
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, and are able to work independently to achieve set targets
  • Time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Fluency in English language
