The Role

If you apply successfully for this job, you will join us at an exciting time. With fantastic growth in recent years, we are now working to ensure that this growth will continue. The purpose of your job is to manage enzyme sales in our North American Food Industry business:

  • Achieve sales objectives and KPI’s with direct accounts as well as with our major distributor
  • Build sustainable long-term customer relationships based upon multi-level contacts
  • Be a key team member of the NA Sales team
  • Account planning, sales analysis, and sales forecasting
  • Identify, create, quantify, prioritize and manage sales opportunities
  • Work closely with our distribution partner to build business with them
  • Collaborate with the global Key Account team to manage relationships with relevant customers
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences to develop contacts ascertain industry trends and promote AB Enzymes’ products
  • Connect customers’ technical functions and AB Enzymes’ technical support as needed
  • Collect and analyze market information in target growth segments

About You

We are looking for a customer focused outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. You bring proven leadership skills and you are a team-player.
Furthermore you possess:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience from the US food industry
  • A degree in Food Science or Food Technology. Alternatively, you have 5- 10 years of B-B sales experience in the protein-processing industry, with a background in chemistry, or biotechnology
  • Experience with food distribution channels and enzyme know-how are desirable
  • Ability to identify and evaluate key opportunities by understanding market drivers, customer needs and growth potential
  • This position is home-based and location is open. Willingness and capability to travel 50-60% of the time throughout North America, but primarily in the USA and Canada
