Customer Service Agent

You will be responsible for: Effective and efficient assistance to Regional Supply Chain Manager to ensure smooth Supply Chain and Customer Service.

Your key result areas will be:

  • Friendly, efficient and effective customer order management for all customer orders received and handled in the region, resulting in satisfied customers and a stronger relationship on an operational level to our customers, suppliers and partners (e.g. customs brokers, freight forwarders etc.)
  • Effective and efficient Supply Chain operations, which is achieved through effective support being given to the regional Supply Chain Manager, so that he/she can focus on the fulfilment of his/her duties
  • Business growth in the region, based on the development of stable and trusted relationships and internal operations
  • Knowledge transfer both within the regional team and to/from the global and other regional Supply Chain teams around the world (i.e. maintaining and supporting a friendly, trust-based and effective network for relevant tasks and operations)

Your required qualifications and key skills:

  • Educated to degree level in foreign trade or business administration with at least 3-5 years working experience in customer service and logistics
  • Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese, English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication skills (internal + external)
  • Pro-active, organized, committed, efficient, open minded, careful, honest, friendly, flexible and motivated are the major attributes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with different countries and cultures
  • Very good skills with ERP system (SAP) and good skills with Microsoft applications (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
