We are looking for a highly motivated:

IT Project Manager
(Located in Darmstadt, near Frankfurt, Germany)

In this key role you will be responsible for the successful management of key IT projects and thus lay the foundation for further sustainable business growth. You will be embedded into our global IT team and own your projects and applications end to end (across all phases including analysis, build/development, test and roll-out).

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage and execute internal IT projects
  • Analyze and document the business processes and define the requirements together with our internal customers from the various business departments
  • Evaluate the technical options together with your in-house customers and our external suppliers
  • Manage and coordinate external suppliers
  • Collaborate with your IT colleagues and with our IT service centre on projects
  • Manage communication of change and improvements
  • Management and knowledge of key support process. Create and maintain support processes for our business systems
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve our systems and processes

Your required qualifications and key skills

  • University degree or equivalent in IT, engineering, business or sciences
  • First professional experience within IT and/or IT project management
  • Strong, broad knowledge of IT, IT infrastructure and applications/business systems
  • Familiar with project management methodologies, ITIL knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to manage relationships internally and externally
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, and being able to work independently to achieve set targets
  • Time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate between internal customer needs and technical implementation/possibilities
  • Fluency in English language, German language is a plus
